OAP Urgent Response Services

The primary goal of URS is to stabilize the escalation of challenging behaviors and reduce the risk of harm to the individual, others, and property.

Timely, Caregiver Mediated, Stabilization Support

Our OAP Urgent Response Services (URS) is a specialized support program designed to assist children and youth in Dufferin, Guelph and Wellington, and who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). This OAP funded, time-limited service, provides rapid response aimed at stabilizing high risk behaviours, using a caregiver mediated approach based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) through a trauma informed lens.

Services offered will include Behavioural Intervention, Emotional Support, Direct In-Home Coaching Support, Time-limited Respite Support (as available), and Service Navigation.
