We are excited to announce the launch of our new program, The Mindfulness Group, designed to help youth learn coping strategies and develop mindfulness skills. Led by our experienced facilitators, this one-and-a-half-hour group will focus on introducing participants to the AIM curriculum by Mark Dixon BCBA-D.
In this workshop, participants will engage in various fun activities that will not only teach them about mindfulness but also help them become more flexible in their thinking and problem-solving. Through group discussions and interactive exercises, they will learn valuable coping strategies that can be applied in their everyday lives.
The ideal participant for this group is a youth who would benefit from learning coping strategies. They should be comfortable working in a group setting, able to listen attentively for at least 10 minutes, and capable of answering questions about past events. Our aim is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can learn and grow together.
